Undercurrents

I'm not quite sure where February has gone.
it seemed like it had just started and poof~
tomorrow is our last day.
a Leap year at that.

I had such plans...

oh, I did get some clay time~
(it's never enough)
did some inkworks
and of course there were mousels...

But then,
right as Early Works was coming,
I fell ill.
My head was bigger than a house for what seemed days.
Many of us don't get through the Winter without a touch of some sickness.
This was a kick on the pants for sure.
I'm finally on the mend from the second virus
and suddenly,
 March is nearly here!

While I may have lost some time creating,
I am excited to move forward.
On the days that I may not have felt well, there were still plans to set in motion
 and research to do.
I'm getting to the end of that process as well....
but more on that when the time is right.

Love the mouses, although I could do without my actual little friend of the mouse persuasion, who has taken up living in my kitchen!

As always I am enchanted by your work. I was just sorting though my craft patterns to make more of your little birds for the coming season. They decorate my fireplace mantle and shelves. So sweet. So sorry to hear of your illness, I was blessed with it over the holidays and well into January. One thing about such down time, it does give you open spaces of time to think, to plan, to dream...between coughs and sneezes. Soon Spring will come to blow out the cobwebs of creative energy. Have a lovely day.

Stacey, I'm glad you're home from the "Spa." Continue to take care of yourself…find a little niche to create and sip tea...
